Perry Central got out of the gate quickly, and soon had a double-digit lead. Hazard began to pick up the pace as the period wore on, but at the horn, it was the Lady Commodores, 25-8.

The two teams were evenly matched in the second period, and the Lady Bulldogs were unable to trim anything off their deficit. Perry Central went into the locker room with the 41-18 lead.

Perry Central turned up the heat in the third period, and continued to extend their advantage. With a couple of minutes left in the frame, the Lady Commodores were able to evoke the “continuous clock.”
