Early in the week, the Perry County Central Commodores hosted the Prestonsburg Blackcats. The Commodores lost to the Blackcats in the opening week of the baseball season, and were looking for some revenge.

The Commodores took the early lead with a run in the first inning. However, they would see that lead disappear in the third inning as the Blackcats scored four runs to take the 1-4 lead.

Perry Central would inch their way back into the game, scoring a run in each the fourth and fifth innings (3-4). The two teams would swap runs in the seventh inning, leaving the Commodores short 4-5.

Perry Central (4) Nathan Pray 1 hit and 2 runs; Evan Hurt 1 hit and 1 run; Jordan Baker 2 hits and 2 RBI; and Dustin Frazier 1 hit and 1 RBI.
