The Yankees and the Angels took to the field for the second game on opening day. The game was close early, but the Yankees would soon break the game open, and cruise to the 15-4 win.


The Angels scored twice in the first inning, only to be outdone by the Yankees 3-2. The Angels came right back with two more, giving them the 4-3 lead.


However, the Yankees would jump out to an insurmountable lead with 11 runs in the second inning (14-4). They would then finish off the game in the third inning with a single run (15-4).


Yankees (15) Wade Pelfrey 1 hit (HR) and 4 runs; Hank Pelfrey 2 runs; Garrett Miller 2 hits and 1 run; Gavin Clutts 1 hit and 2 runs; Cameron Caudill 2 hits and 2 runs; Jaxon Hamilton 1 hit; Cameron Combs 1 run; Braxton Davidson 1 run; Seth Sale 1 run; and Connor Hammond 1 run.


Angels (4) Isaac Bellamy 1 hit and 1 run; Hunter Pigman 1 run; Dylan Cornett 2 hits (HR) and 1 run; Massey 1 hit and 1 run; and Jacob Blank 1 hit and 1 run.
