On Thursday, the Perry County Central Commodores hosted the Paintsville Tigers. The undefeated Commodores had little trouble disposing of the Tigers as they jumped out to an early lead, and quickly went deep into their bench.


The Commodores came out strong, scoring three goals in less than 20 minutes. Brandon Wooton picked up two of those goals within seven minutes. Jacob Farris and Travis Dunn rounded out the first half scoring. They went into the half with the 4-1 lead.


Brandon Wooton opened the second half by completing his hat-trick. John Watts and Travis Dunn pushed the Commodores lead to 7-1 by the midway point of the second half.


The two teams traded goals down the stretch, setting the final score at 9-3. Jacob Farris picked up his second goal, while Zac Combs found the net just before the horn.
