MADISON – Two Nellis men were arrested on methamphetamine charges after police executed a search warrant.

Chris Allen Curry, 36, and Terry Len Daugherty, 49, both from Ridgeview Nellis Road in Nellis, were charged and arraigned in Boone County Magistrate Court on Friday, March 14, 2014, according to criminal complaints filed at the courthouse.

Curry was charged with conspiracy and manufacture, deliver, or possess with intent to manufacture or deliver, a controlled substance, while Daugherty was charged with conspiracy.

Police executed a search warrant on a Parcel Interdiction Investigation in Ridgeview and Nellis, and throughout the course of the investigation discovered Curry and Daughtery had conspired with other individuals to receive approximately 160 grams of crystal meth from an out of state supplier.

Boone County Prosecuting Attorney Keith Randolph said the allegations were that the meth was sent by Fed Ex from out of state.

Curry admitted to accepting the package for Daughtery, and was to receive a portion of the meth for his involvement, according to the criminal complaints.

Daugherty told police that he intended to sell the product in Boone County, the complaints said.

The out of state individuals were not named in the complaints and no other details were given.

Bond was set at $50,000 for both men.
