The Perry County Central Lady Commodore volleyball team played a pair of games this past week, hosting the Letcher Central Lady Cougars and the Harlan County Lady Black Bears.


The Lady Commodores got off to a good start in game one against the Lady Cougars. However, they began to wane midway through and fell 25-11.


The Lady Commodores picked up the pace in game two, but could not pull out the win (25-22). Perry Central got closer in game three, but could not close out the game, falling 25-23. Letcher Central came away with the 3-0 win.


Later in the week, Perry Central took on Harlan County. The Lady Commodores started ice cold, and fell 25-5.


Game two went better as they jumped out to the early lead, and held the 23-16 lead. However, Harlan County came storming back, and came away with the 25-23 win.


Perry Central could not pull off the win in game three, falling 25-20. Harlan County was able to escape with the 3-0 win.
