The Buckhorn Lady Wildcats took on the host Leslie County Lady Eagles in the second round of the Hyden Citizens Bank Shootout. The Lady Wildcats struggled in this contest to find a way to stop the Leslie County offense.

Buckhorn fell behind early, and could not find a way to climb back into the contest. Leslie County was able to keep the pressure on the Lady Wildcats, and began to pull away in the second half. The Lady Eagles went on to win the game by the final of 68-49.

LaVaughn Henson led the way with 17 points on the night, and Kansas Rice chipped in 6 rebounds in the loss.
