Early last week, the Hazard Lady Bulldogs traveled to Wolfe County to take on the Lady Wolves. The Lady Bulldogs jumped out to an early lead, and never looked back at the downed the Lady Wolves 57-42.


The Hazard offense was off and running with the opening tip. The Lady Bulldogs notched a double-digit lead in the first frame (16-4). Despite a strong rally by the Lady Wolves in the second period, Hazard went into the locker room with the 26-20 advantage.

The Lady Wolves made a strong move on the lead early in the third period, but the Lady Bulldogs were able to fend off the attack, and went into the final period with the 43-33 lead. Hazard iced the game early in the fourth quarter, and cruised to the 57-42 win.
