Early last week, the Hazard Bulldogs traveled to Corbin to take on the Redhounds. The Bulldog trailed for much of the game, but rallied late to take the 3-1 win.


Corbin took the lead in the first inning 1-0. The Redhounds held on to that lead until the fifth inning when the Bulldogs tied the game.


Hazard waited until the final inning to make their move. The Bulldog crossed the plate twice in the frame, giving them the 3-1 lead. They then shut down the Redhounds in the bottom of the frame to take the 3-1 win.


Kameron Conley got the win with seven inning pitched (3 hits, 1 run, 5 walks and 11 strikeouts).


Hazard (3) J.T. Haynes 1 run, 2 hits and 1 RBI; Ryan Smith 1 hit and 2 RBI; Cole Ratliff 1 hit; Rudy Akemon 1 run; and Coby Cumbow 1 run and 1 hit.
