The Dodgers and the Padres kicked off the 60th year of little league in Perry County. The game belonged to the Dodgers from the opening frame as they cruised to the 9-2 win.

The Dodgers began building their lead from the opening inning as they scored twice. They touched the dish three more times in the second inning, giving them the 5-0 lead.

The Padres scored their only runs of the game in the fourth inning, but saw them erased by the Dodgers later (8-2). The Dodgers scored one more run to end the game with the 9-2 win.

Dodgers (9) Wyatt Hensley 4 runs; Jayden Bailey 1 hit and 2 runs; Dustin Fields 1 hit and 1 run; Mason Sayers 1 hit; Peyton Sayers 1 run; and Ryan Davidson 1 run.

Padres (2) Kolton Hillman 1 hit; Matt Williams 1 hit and 1 run; and Campbell Davis 1 run.
