Last week, the Angels and the Padres did battle on the little league field. The Angels took the early lead, and never looked back as they notched a 21-3 victory.

The Angels took the early lead with four runs in the first inning (4-0). They then got the better of a 5 to 3 exchange in the second inning to take the 9-3 advantage.

The remainder of the game would be all Angels as they outscored the Padres 12-0 down the stretch. The Angels garnered four runs in the third inning, and eight runs in the fourth to bring the game to an early end 21-3.

Angels (21) I. Bellamy 2 hits and 3 runs; A. Combs 1 hit and 4 runs; H. Pigman 2 hits and 4 runs; D. Cornett 1 hit and 3 runs; J. Blank 2 hits and 2 runs; T. Massey 1 hit and 2 runs; and G. Noe 1 hit and 3 runs.

Padres (3) L. Goins 1 hit and 1 run; C. Davis 1 run; and C. Miller 1 run.
