Last week, the Angels and the Dodgers hit the field for some little league action. The Angels started strong, and coasted to the 16-3 win.


The Angels would get all the runs they would need early as they plated 11 runs in the first inning. They would go up 13-0 in the second inning.


The Dodgers would break the ice in the third inning with a run, but would surrender three to the Angels in the bottom of the frame (16-1). The Dodgers’ final rally would give them two runs, ending the game early at 16-3.


Angels (16) I. Bellamy 1 hit and 3 runs; A. Combs 2 hits and 2 runs; H. Pigman 2 runs; D. Cornett 3 hits and 2 runs; J. Blank 1 hit and 2 runs; T. Massey 1 hit and 1 run; G. Noe 2 hits and 1 run; J. Begley 1 run; and B. Newsome 2 runs.


Dodgers (3) J. Bailey 1 hit and 1 run; B. Amburgey 1 hit; R. Davidson 1 hit and 1 run; and D. Bowling 1 run.
