The Hazard-Perry junior league started their tournament with the home standing team, Richmond. They were able to get a complete game shutout from Ryan Couch, and move into the second round with the 4-0 win.

Hazard Perry chipped away at the Richmond defense, picking up a single run in the third inning to get started. They then picked up a pair of runs in the fourth inning to take the 3-0 lead.

Hazard-Perry closed out their offensive attack with a lone run in the fifth inning. They then settled in defensively to preserve the 4-0 win.

Hazard-Perry (4) Andy Baker 1 hit and 1 run; Dylan Fields 1 hit and 1 run; Jacob Johnson 1 hit; Chase Ford 1 run; and Skylar Pelfrey 1 run.
