In their third game of the tournament, the Hazard-Perry junior league took on the team from Richmond. This time, the loser would go home, while the winning team would have to beat Paintsville twice for the title.

Hazard-Perry went on top early, scoring a run in the first inning and two in the second, giving them the 3-0 lead. Richmond would pick up their first run in the fourth inning (3-1).

Hazard-Perry would pick up three runs in the fifth inning (6-2), and an insurance run in the sixth (7-3). They would hold off Richmond down the stretch, advancing to the title round.

Hazard-Perry (7) Bailey Blair 1 run; Chase Ford 1 run; Dylan Fields 2 hits and 2 runs; Dalton Baker 1 run; Brody Dixon 1 hit and 1 run; and Jacob Johnson 1 run.
