After dropping their first two games of the National tournament to Michigan and Iowa, the Hazard-Perry All-Stars regrouped in their game with Minnesota. Down 7-5 after five innings, Hazard-Perry had their backs to the wall. In their final at bat, they rallied for three runs to take the 8-7 win.


Hazard-Perry got on the board first with three runs in the first inning (3-0). They then piked up another run in the second inning to go up 4-0.


In the fourth inning, the two teams both crossed the plate. However, Minnesota would get the better end of a 6-1 exchange (5-6).


Minnesota increased their margin in the following inning with a run, giving them the 7-5 advantage. The score would stand until Hazard-Perry stepped to the plate for their final at bat. They were able to rally for three runs, giving them the 8-7 win.


Hazard-Perry (8) Bailey Blair 1 hit and 2 runs; Andy Baker 1 hit and 2 runs; Dylan Fields 1 hit and 2 runs; Cameron Turner 2 hits; Skylar Pelfrey 1 run; and Trajan Campbell 1 run.
