On Monday, the Hazard-Perry All-Stars took on the All-Stars from Ohio. Hazard-Perry needed a win if they were going to keep their hopes alive in the national tournament.

Hazard-Perry would be the first to light their side of the scoreboard. The single run (1-0) would stand as the score until the fourth inning when Ohio took the lead with a pair of runs (1-2).

In the following inning, Hazard-Perry would rally for the lead. They would push four runs across the plate, giving them the 5-2 lead.

Ohio would not be able to crack the Hazard-Perry defense down the stretch, giving Hazard-Perry the 5-2 win. The win would be enough to keep their hopes alive in the tournament. They would have to wait for the outcome of the following games.

Hazard-Perry (5) Bailey Blair 1 hit and 1 run; Andy Baker 1 hit; Dylan Fields 2 hits and 1 run; Brody Dixon 2 hits and 1 run; Cameron Turner 1 hit; Dalton Baker 1 hit and 1 run; Skylar Pelfrey 1 run; Trajan Campbell 1hit; and Ryan Couch 1 hit.
