The Perry County Central Commodore boys’ soccer team is ready to start the 2014 season, and are looking to hit the field running. The Commodores made it to the finals of the region last season, loosing in a penalty kick shootout, and are looking to make it to state this season.

Perry Central will not be lacking experience this season as 20 players will be returning. The Commodores will also be adding five new players to the scheme.

The Commodores have set a goal of winning the district and region this season. They would like to make a run in the state tournament. Coach Andrew Lunsford commented, “This team is that good, they haven’t missed a beat from last season.”
