Hayes Justice

Hayes Justice, 70, of Viper, died Friday, July 22, 2005 at Our Lady of the Way Hospital in Martin. He was the son of the late Noah Justice and Dicey Mattney. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Justice; 4 daughters, Deloris McIntyre, Wilma Justice, Wanda Farmer and Sharon Faye McKinney; 1 step-daughter, Connie Lavonne Feltner; 2 sisters, Jean Justice and Kizzie Justice; 1 brother, Jay Justice; host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral was conducted Saturday, July 23, 2005 at Maggard Brothers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Judy Parsons officiating, burial in the Resthaven Cemetery in Jeff. Maggard Brothers Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Tensley Campbell

Tensley Campbell, 81, of Bonnyman, died Friday, July 22, 2005 at home. He is survived by his wife Reva Neace Campbell of Bonnyman; 2 daughters, Orene Campbell Fugate of Hazard; Judy Campbell of Breathitt County; 3 sons, Eli Campbell and Michael Campbell, both of Bonnyman; Wayne Campbell of Georgetown; 4 sisters, Hazel McIntosh of Perry County; Martha Couch of Cutterville, IN; Mae Eversole of Couchtown; and Gladys Couch of Second Creek; 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, host of nieces and nephews. Funeral was conducted Tuesday, July 26, 2005 at Engle-Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Carl Wayne Johnson, Leon Eversole and Curt Eversole officiating, burial in the Meadow Branch Cemetery in Meadow Branch. Pete Anderson Gayheart, 64, of Hazard, died Sunday, July 24, 2005 at the Hazard Medical Center. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Sue Combs Gayheart; mother, Rilda Russell Gayheart; 1 daughter, Alexa Ann Boggs of Hazard; 1 son, Mark Anderson Gayheart and wife Barbara of Pearl River, LA; 1 sister, Janice Sheperd of Hazard; 2 brothers, Higgins Gayheart of Sarasota, FL; Danny Gayheart of MI; 2 grandchildren, Zachery Neal Boggs of Richmond; Austin Taylor Boggs of Hazard; host of nieces and nephews. Funeral was conducted today, Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at Engle-Walker Funeral Home with Mitch Fields officiating, burial in the Gayheart Cemetery in Lotts Creek. Walter William Moore, Sr, 48, of Combs, died Saturday, July 23, 2005 at Holston Valley Hospital in Kingsport, TN. He is survived by his father, Manuel Moore, Sr. of Chavies; mother, Anna Stillwell of Bullett County; 1 daughter, Tresa Moore of Dayton, OH; 2 sons, Walter Moore, Jr. and Randall Scott Moore, both of Upper Second Creek; 2 sisters, Susie Combs of Hazard; Gina Moore of Louisville; 5 brothers, James Moore of Dry Ridge; Manuel Moore, Jr., Dewey Moore and Corbett Moore, all of Hazard; John "Pete" Moore of Bullitt County; host of nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and other relatives and friends survive. Funeral was conducted today, Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at the Upper Second Creek Baptist Church in Upper Second Creek with Rev. Jack Carter and Rev.
