The week’s 6th grade girls’ county tournament started with the Big Creek Lady Bobcats and the Viper Lady Hornets. The Lady Bobcats took control of the game early, and cruised to the easy 41-10 win.

The two teams got off to a slow start, with neither team scoring midway through the period. The action picked up late as Big Creek gave themselves the 8-2 lead at the horn.

The Lady Bobcats pushed the tempo higher in the second period, and began to pull away from the Lady Hornets. Going into the locker room, Big Creek held the 21-6 advantage.

Viper came out of the break ice cold, allowing Big Creek to put the game away. The Lady Bobcats outscored the Lady Hornets by double-digits, and went to the final frame with the 33-6 lead.

The Lady Bobcats set the continuous clock in motion early in the fourth quarter, and cruised to the 41-10 win.
