Early in the week, the Buckhorn Wildcats hosted the Chavies Cardinals. The visiting Cardinals had trouble breaking away from the Wildcats early in the game, but managed to take a 44-37 lead into the final period.
In the fourth quarter, Buckhorn managed to swing the momentum in their favor. The Wildcats were able to squeak past the Cardinals on a last second shot. The Wildcats were able to pull out the 51-50 win on the strength of 29 points by Jordan Amis. Eric Stidham led the Cardinal attack with 20 points.
