Last week, the Buckhorn Lady Wildcats' volleyball team went 2-0, winning on the road and at home. The Lady Wildcats opened on the road with Jackson City, and finished with Owsley County at home.

At Jackson City, Buckhorn was able to take the win in straight games. In the first game, the Lady Wildcats came away with an impressive 25-4 win.

However, in the second game, Jackson City put up more of a fight. It would not be enough to stop Buckhorn from taking the 25-11 win, giving them the match.

Later in the week, the Lady Wildcats hosted the Owsley County Lady Owls. This match would push Buckhorn to the limit.

In the first game, Buckhorn was able to outpace Owsley County, and came away with the 25-21 win. In game two, the Lady Owls would keep the Lady Wildcat on their heels. However, Buckhorn would hang tough, pulling out the 25-22 win, giving them the match.
