Late Monday, the Hazard Bulldogs played their second game of the Republic Bank Classic. The Bulldogs took on the McCreary Central Raiders in the nightcap.

The game got off to a slow start as both teams tried to take control of the tempo from the opening tap. By the end of the first period, nothing had been settled as the score was knotted at 10.

As the second period wore on, the Raiders began to take control of the tempo and built a scant lead. Going into the locker room, the Bulldogs found themselves trailing 27-24.

Hazard continued to lose ground in small increments throughout the third period. The Bulldogs were able to avoid the double-digit deficit going into the final period (47-39).

The Bulldogs made their best effort to get back into the game during the final minutes of the contest, but the Raiders' resolve was too great. Hazard dropped the game to McCreary Central by the final count of 68-56.
