The Perry County Central Commodores concluded their 2006 season on the road in Richmond where they took on Madison Southern. The Commodores battled the Eagles valiantly throughout out the first half, but lost contact with them in the second half. Perry Central eventually succumbed to the Eagles 37-20.

Madison Southern picked up the first score of the game after the Commodores let go of a bad snap on a punt attempt. The Eagles then recovered in the end zone for the safety 2-0. Madison Southern took the free kick the length of the field of a touchdown for the 8-0 lead.

Perry Central traded touchdowns with Madison Southern to close out the half. The Commodores followed the Eagles touchdown with a 70-yard kickoff return by Brandon Willis, and Jordan Amis' toss to Joe Begley for the 2-pt. conversion tied the score at eight.

Madison Southern came right back with a touchdown drive than netted them the 16-8 advantage, but Perry Central was able to counter in the final two minutes to pull to within two at the break. The score came on a 7 yard Jordan Amis to Ryan Miller pass.

The Commodores' touchdown was set up by a fourth and six play. With time running out in the half, Perry Central went for the first down. Jordan Amis hit Brandon Jones on a pass play that covered 35 yards.

Turnovers created havoc for the Commodores in the second half as Madison Southern was able to take advantage of the Perry Central miscues to take a 37-14 lead. The Commodores, however, would not go away and put up another score before the end of the game, a 9 yard pass from Jordan Amis to Demetri Travis (final 37-20).
