On Thursday, the Cubs and the Dodgers hit the field for little league action. The Dodgers jumped out to the early lead, but could not hold off the Cubs who rallied late.
The Dodgers took the early 5-1 lead. The Dodgers went up 7-1 in the top of the second inning, and then gave up four to the Cubs in the bottom of the inning (7-5).
The Cubs more than made up the difference in the third inning, taking the 9-7 lead. The Cubs tacked on three more runs in the fifth inning, extending their lead to 12-7.
The Dodgers finished the game with a pair of runs, but it left them short 12-9.
