The Walters’ Nissan Cubs and the M & D Electric Reds hit the field for game two on Saturday. The Cubs took the early lead, and never looked back as they rolled to the 16-3 win.
The Cubs opened the game with three runs in the first inning, and tacked on four in the second to take the 7-0 lead. The Reds got their first run in the third inning, but gave up nine in the bottom of the inning (16-1). The Reds closed out the game with two runs to bring the final tally to 16-3.
Cubs (16) Ryan Couch 4 hits and 4 runs, Chase Ford 3 runs, Dalton Bryant 2 runs, Donovan Stidham 2 runs, Coby Baker 1 hit, Caleb Neace 1 run, Dylan Chaney 1 hit and 2 runs, and Braden Howard 1 run.
Reds (3) T. Campbell 1 hit, J. Frazier 1 hit and 1 run, A. Combs 1 run, and A. Stollings 1 hit and 1 run.
