Etta Mae Colwell Wooton, born September 22, 1973, departed this life on Thursday, May 27 at her residence in Krypton. She was 36 years of age at the time of her passing.

She was born in Austin, In., the daughter of Marvin and Irene Deaton Colwell.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Vicky Lynn Colwell Hughes; maternal grandfather Clifton Reed Deaton and paternal grandparents Burley and Laura Colwell.

She is survived by her parents; fiancé Anthony “Tony” Mize of Krypton; sons Hacker Joshua Combs, Marvin Wesley Combs and Tony Nicholas Mize; stepson Michael Mize; daughter Rebecca Nicole Combs and Abbie Gail Combs; sisters Margaret Feltner and husband Lloyd and Nancy Bailey and husband Wayne, both of Busy; maternal grandmother Martha Deaton of Busy and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on Monday, May 31 at the Typo Baptist Church in Couchtown with Carl Lindsey officiating. Burial followed in the Feltner Cemetery located at Willard.

Engle-Walker Funeral Home of Hazard was in charge of arrangements.
