French Smith Jr., 40, passed away Monday, Nov. 19, at the Ky. River Medical Center in Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his father, French Smith.

He is survived by his mother, Shirley Smith of Clayhole; sons French Smith III of Bladenboro, N.C. and Samuel Smith of North Carolina; daughters Deonna Lynn Smith and Brittany Smith of Bladenboro; brother Donnie Davis of Jackson; sisters Brenda Bewley of Monticello, Malinda Donahue of Bismarck, Arkansas, Nancy Barillas of Indianapolis, Shirleen Mullins of Bicknell, In,; special cousins Joyce Campbell, Beatrice Lucas, Ledford Gene Lovins, Phillip Lovins, Drewey Lovins, Jerry Lovins, Raymond Lovins.

Arrangements were handled by Breathitt Funeral Home, where the services were held on Saturday, Nov. 24 with Revs. Clyde & Ruth Kilborn officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Travis Noble, Jody Noble, Austin Lovins Noble, Gary Collins, Jerry Lovins, Raymond Lovins, T.J. Combs, Donnie Davis.
