He was a son of Creed Shutts and the late Monalee Minter Shutts, born at Weston on July 10, 1953. He was an operation manager for an oil and gas company, and he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and son.
He is survived by his loving wife, Julie Turner Shutts of Hazard; daughters Kilee Lawson of Hazard, Tina Burnside and husband Lee of Weston, and Lisa Shutts of Dallas; stepdaughters Leslie Craft and husband John and Rayven Gentry, both of Hazard; seven grandchildren; his loving father Creed Shutts of Weston; brother Steve Shutts of Prestonsburg, and two special ward of the state children, Chase Jones and Makayla Jones, both of Hazard.
He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Monalee Minter Shutts and sister Sharon Shutts. He also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Memorial services will be held at a later date and time. Arrangements were entrusted to Porter and Son Funeral Directors of Campton, Ky.
