The Hazard Lady Bulldogs took to the court last week against the Breathitt County Lady Bobcats. The Lady Bulldogs had little trouble as they dispatched of them in straight games.
In the first game, Breathitt County was able to keep it close early. However, Hazard began to pull away about a third of the way through. The Lady Bulldogs went on to win the game 25-12.
The momentum from game one carried over, and Hazard took the lead from the first serve. The Lady Bulldogs went on to win the game by an identical 25-12 score.
Game three was on pace to close out with a third 25-12 score, but Breathitt County picked up a couple of points on the last series, ending with a 25-14 score. Hazard was able to sweep the Lady Bobcats in straight games.
