He was born on April 7, 1937 to the late Leige Sizemore and Millie White, and is also preceded in death by his brother, Tom Sizemore; sisters Lora Campbell, Bessie White, Nora Sizemore, Della Baker and Alice Spencer; and grandchild Travis Lee Baker.
He is survived by his wife, Geneva Sizemore of Krypton; sons Clyde Sizemore and wife Lois of Busy, Lester Ray Sizemore of Krypton and Dale Sizemore of Krypton; daughters: Wanda Deaton and husband Kenneth of Busy and Juanita Maggard and husband Doug of Chavies; brothers Leige Sizemore, Jr. of Krypton, Mitchell Sizemore of Austin, Indiana, Charlie Sizemore , Harrison Sizemore, and Jessie Leroy Sizemore, all of Buckhorn; sisters Dora Baker of Leslie County and Chloe Campbell of Jackson, along with 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services were held at the Huff Island Old Regular Baptist Church at Krypton on Sunday, November 27 with Nathaniel Collins officiating. Burial was at the Sizemore Family Cemetery at Yerkes.
Engle-Walker Funeral Home of Hazard was in charge of arrangements.
