A native of Hiner, he was the son of Mamie Baker of Perry County and the late Wilburn Baker. He was a retired IBM employee and a Presbyterian.
Additional survivors include his son, Arnold Baker of Port St. Lucie, Fl. and his daughter, Lora A. Baker of Lexington.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10 at the Winchester Cemetery shelter by Charles Baker.
