On Friday, the Perry County Central Lady Commodores soccer team concluded their regular season with the Corbin Lady Redhounds. The Lady Commodores led most of the way, but could not finish with the win and had to settle for the tie.

The lone goal of the first half belonged to the Lady Commodores. Sarah Melton picked up a cross while cutting through the box, and promptly deposited it in the net. At the half, Perry Central held the 1-0 lead.

Early in the second half, Corbin tied the game with a goal. However, it would not stand long as Perry Central erased the score. Ashley Morris ran down a long ball and beat the goalie one-on-one to give the Lady Commodores the 2-1 advantage.

Ten minutes later, the Lady Redhounds were back in the game with a goal that tied the contest at two. Neither team would find the go ahead goal down the stretch, and the game ended in a 2-2 tie. Makayla Lewis had 12 saves on the night.
