Little League: Angels overtake Reds 13-11

The 1st Trust Bank Angels and the M & D Electric Reds closed out little league play on Saturday. The game went back and forth, with the Angels pulling out the win late.

The Reds took the early lead with seven runs in the first inning. The Angels countered with five in the bottom of the frame.

The two teams traded runs in the second inning, with the Reds holding on to the 9-7 lead. The Angels tied the game with two runs in the third inning.

The game went to 10-all in the fourth, and the Angels took their first lead with three runs in the fifth inning (13-11). The Reds failed to score in the sixth inning, giving the Angels the 13-11 win.

Angel stats: Hunter Pigman 1 run, Bryson Parks 3 runs, Noah Back 3 runs, Isiah Stupart 1 hit and 3 runs, Jaron Centers 1 hit and 1 run, Thomas Massey 1 run, and Cole Skiles 1 run.

Reds stats: T. Campbell 4 hits and 1 run, P. Estep 1 run, K. Hillman 1 run, D. Baker 2 hit and 2 runs, J. Frazier 3 runs, A. Combs 1 run, H. York 1 run, and B. Amburgey 1 hit and 1 run.
