Little League: Reds and Angels hook up for marathon game

The M & D Electric Reds and the 1st Trust Bank Angels hooked up last week in what turned out to be a marathon. The Reds exploded late to take the 20-19 win.

The first half of the game saw the Angels take the lead. They were able to score a run in the first inning, five in the second inning and 10 runs in the third inning, taking the 16-6 lead.

The Reds began to take control of the contest in the second half. They touched the plate four times in the fourth inning, six times in the fifth inning, and took the win with four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning. The Reds went on to win the game by the final score of 20-19.
