He was the son of the late Andrew Goodwin and the late Vera Hazel Bass.
He is survived by his wife, Sonya Goodwin; son Jonathan Andrew Goodwin; sister Katie Clemons; brothers Russell Goodwin, Herb Goodwin, and Albert Goodwin, along with a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Arrangements were handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel of Hazard where the family received friends on Sunday, January 24. The funeral service was at the chapel on Monday, January 25 with J.T. Eversole officiating. Interment was at Combs Cemetery located at Millseed, Ky.
