Melissa Carol Miller, 35, of Lexington, passed away Saturday, May 30 at St. Joseph Hospital- East.

Melissa was born on October 21, 1973 in Hazard, Kentucky and was the daughter of Juanita Hill Dyer. She had been a Seaman with the U.S. Navy. Melissa was a graduate of Sullivan University and was a contract manager with Galls Incorporated. She was a member of Pine Street Church of God MPG of T in Richmond.

Survivors include: her mother, Juanita Hill Dyer, of Lexington; her grandmother, Rheto Hill, of Lexington; two daughters, Tyneesha Marie Hill and Brianna Michelle Hill, both of Lexington; two brothers, Ralph Curtis Jones, of Lexington, and Pleas Moss (& Tina), of Somerset; four sisters, Celestine Jones, Amy Jones, Tabitha Jones, and Brittany Cooper; two step-sisters, Malissa Jones and Shanna Jones; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Melissa was preceded in death by her grandfather, Joseph Hill.

Funeral services for Melissa Miller were Saturday, June 6 at the Pine Street Church of God MPG of T in Richmond with Rev. Lolita Collins officiating.

Burial was Monday June 8 at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens in Lexington.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home in Richmond.
