Perry Central High School’s Commodore Players rang in their 10th anniversary with an ambitious production of “Aladdin” this week, which included a large cast of actors and some ambitious and clever set design. The drama company’s four-day run of “Aladdin” began on Thursday, and there will still be time to catch their final show on Sunday, Sept. 30 at 2 p.m. on the Commodore stage at Perry Central. All proceeds from the production go to fund the company’s competition production at the annual Kentucky Theatre Association’s festival. The Players will also return to the PCC stage for their spring student-directed production, which will be a version of Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” though with a twist.
