A native of Perry County, she was the daughter of the late Ance and Opha Grigsby Baker. He was a retired District Sales Manager for Avon products and attended the Grace Baptist Church.
Survivors include son Daniel (Aida) Combs of Winchester; daughter Cherrie and Bob Jackson of Winchester; inherited daughter Matilda Raney of Mt. Sterling; grandson Matt Combs of Florida; granddaughter Gini Combs-Ross of North Carolina; step grandchildren Jacob and Chris Benavides of Richmond, Sonya Sandridge of Indiana, and Peter Jackson of Louisville; great grandchildren Kiayam, Micha, Roman, and Cassidy Benavides, Michael Test, Jackie Sandridge, Jerry Jackson, Colton Ross, and Mathias, Christian, and Troy Combs; brother Baxter Baker of Ohio, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Verdie Baker; brothers Dave, Grover, Clarence, and Bill Baker, and an inherited grandson, Larry Raney.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3 at Scobee Funeral Home by Rev. Pat Finley, Rev. Lee Cruse, and Rev. Dana Feltner. Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery.
Pall bearers will be Matt Combs, Jacob Benavides, Chris Benavides, Jason Rose, Kiayam Benavides, Micha Benavides, Christopher Baker, and Scott Feltner. Honorary pallbearers will be David Lee Baker, Darrell Baker, Jerry Martin, and David C. Baker.
