The Perry County Central Commodores completed their stint at the Broughton’s Classic with the George Rogers Clark Cardinals. The Commodores took the early lead, but could not withstand the final barrage by the Cardinals, falling by the final of 15-11.

Clark County opened the game with a pair of runs to take the lead. However, Perry Central would battle back and take the 4-2 lead after three innings.

By the end of the fourth inning, Clark County was back in control with a 7-4 lead. Going into the sixth inning, the Commodores were within striking distance at 7-5, but surrendered 3 runs to fall down 10-5.

In the bottom of the sixth inning, Perry Central rallied to take the 11-10 lead, and looked to be on their way to the win. But Clark County had one more rally left, and put together five runs in the seventh to steal the 15-11 win.
