The Perry County Central volleyball team traveled to Leslie County to take on the Lady Eagles. The Lady Commodores did not get off to a good start, and things did not get any better as they fell in three games.

The first game was nip-and-tuck throughout, with Leslie County pulling out the narrow 25-23 victory. The momentum stayed with the Lady Eagles in the second game, with the Lady Commodores keeping it close down the stretch. Again, it was a Leslie County win (25-21).

Perry Central stuttered getting out of the gate in game three, and never recovered. Leslie County went on to collect the sweep with the 25-15 win.

Perry Central stats: Haley Back 1 kill and 2 assists, Ashleigh Bryant 1 ace, Brinkley Chitwood 1 assist, Sarah Miller 8 assists and 4 aces, Kayla Rankin 15 kills, 8 blocks and 5 aces, Kassandra Smith 4 assists and 3 aces, Amber Wagers 2 kills and Ariel Williams 1 kill.
