JACKSON – A Perry County man was killed Monday morning when his car collided with a dump truck in Breathitt County.
The crash happened just south of Jackson as 39-year-old Brian D. Noble of Hazard was travelling north along Highway 15. Police say it appears that Noble’s vehicle crossed the center line and collided with a dump truck being driven by 54-year-old Elliott Raleigh of Talbert, Ky.
Raleigh was transported to the Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson, and later to the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington for treatment, according to a press release from the Kentucky State Police.
Noble was pronounced dead at the scene by the Breathitt County Coroner’s Office.
