HAZARD – Authorities in Perry County are on the lookout for a Hazard man indicted last week on allegations that he stabbed another man to death.

Adrian Banks, 44, is charged with one count of murder stemming from the incident on August 4 that left Jerry Combs dead.

Emergency personnel responded to a home on Walker Branch Road in the Allais community following a report that someone was possibly dead inside the residence. Workers with the Perry County Ambulance Authority later located Combs’ body. He had suffered multiple stab wounds, according to police.

Banks was indicted by the Perry County Grand Jury on Friday, though as of Wednesday morning he had yet to be arrested. Det. Billy Pollard with the Kentucky State Police said anyone with any information as to Banks’ whereabouts is urged to call the KSP Post 13 in Hazard at 606-435-6069.
