Raymond White, 74, departed this life on Friday, April 6 at the Kindred Hospital in Louisville.

He was born on September 18, 1937 in Bonnyman, the son of the late Ned White and the late Martha White. He was also preceded in death by brothers Oscar White and Fed White, and sister Betty Sue Martin. He was a life-long resident of Perry County, a truck driver and a member of the Coneva Church of God.

He is survived by his wife, Jessie White of Bonnyman; son Christopher White of Grapevine; daughters Dawn White of Bonnyman and Joann Estep of Chavies; brothers Ned White, Jr., Beckem White and Kenneth White, all of Dayton, Ohio, and Earl Dean White of Florida; sisters Joyce Henson of Richmond, Debbie Mae White of Dayton, Joann White of Dayton and Bonnie Jean Carrol of Hazard, along with seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 9 at noon at the White Family Cemetery at Grapevine with Earl and Sue Stacy officiating. The interment will follow in the White Family Cemetery located at Grapevine.
