COMBS -- A second murder case was opened in Perry County in as many days after a man was fatally shot just past midnight on November 5.

Authorities were called to the scene in the Combs community at 12:01 a.m. Saturday where they discovered 31-year-old Samuel Louive, of Combs, outside a residence at 391 Baker Street. He had been shot multiple times, according to a press release from Kentucky State Police, and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Perry County Coroner’s Office.

Troopers with KSP later arrested 27-year-old Timothy Sizemore, of Hazard, who is currently lodged in the Kentucky River Regional Jail on charges of murder and first-degree wanton endangerment.
