He was the son of the late Truman Dobson, Sr. and the late Sarah Dobson.
He is survived by his sister, Carol Dykes; brother Charles Dobson; niece Dianne; nephews Ramin and Greg and a host of family and friends.
Arrangements are being handled by Maggard Mountain Chapel of Hazard. A graveside service will be at Combs Cemetery located at Second Creek at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9.
