Virgal Neace, 75, died Saturday, February 18 at the Elmhurst Hospital in Elmhurst, Illinois.
He was born on July 14, 1936 to the late James and Opal Neace in Hazard. He was also preceded in death by brothers McKinley Neace and Ralph Neace.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Neace of Lombard, Illinois; son Virgil Ruey Neace and wife Kimberly of Bolingbrook, Illinois; brothers Elmer Neace of Louisville, Carson Neace of Louisville, Paul Neace of Lake Villa, Illinois, and James Neace of Ohio; sisters Bertha Conkle of Elizabethtown, Illinois, Edna Mae Farmer of Chicago, and Marie McIntosh of Franklin Park, Illinois. Other survivors include two grandchildren: Virgil Robert Neace and Jonathan William Neace; great-grandchildren:Alexander James, Arissa Rose, Connor, and Chelsea E.; as well as one step grandchild, Aubrie.
Services were held on Wednesday, February 22 at the Engle Walker Funeral Home of Hazard with Ted Ratliff officiating. Burial was at the Neace Cemetery located at Grapevine.
