HAZARD – Voting is set to begin next week in The Hazard Herald’s annual Cutest Pet Contest, so there’s still plenty of time to enter your pet for a chance to win the $50 prize.

To enter your pet, log on to www.hazard-herald.com and click on the “Cutest Pet Contest” tab at the top right of the page. Just go through a quick registration process, and then upload a photo of your pet. Readers of the Herald’s website can begin voting as early as Monday, September 17.

The Herald’s Cutest Pet Contest is sponsored by Town and Country Animal Clinic, and as of press time 58 pets had been entered. Though voting will begin next week, anyone wishing to enter their pet in the contest has until September 29. Voting will wrap up the following day on Sunday, September 30.

And if you don’t want to enter the contest online, Town and Country, located at 15 Amber Way in Hazard, will also act as a point of entry where you can drop of a photo. Just make sure to include your name and contact information, as well as the pet’s name, and we’ll make sure the photo goes online.

The Herald will announce the winner in our October 3 print edition, and online as well.
