He is survived by his father, Dr. Charles Ruthledge; mother Mary Ruthledge; sisters Judy R. Pierson, Theresa Prewitt, and Kathy Ruthledge; brothers Lt. Col. Mark Prewitt and Harold Ruthledge and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, family and friends.
Arrangements were handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel of Hazard where the family received friends on Monday, July 6. The funeral service followed at the chapel with Darrell Cornett officiating. Interment was at Callie Farler Cemetery located at Viper.
