On Thursday, the Yankees and the Cardinals took to the diamond in little league action. The Cardinals led early, but could not hold off the Yankees who went on to win 11-3.

The Yankees scored the only run of the first inning, giving them the early lead. The lead did not last long as the Cardinals score three runs in the second inning to go up 3-1.

The Cardinals would go cold at that point, failing to post another run on the board. The Yankees, on the other hand, went on to score ten more times (three in the third inning, and seven in the fifth inning).

The Yankees went on to win the game by the final count of 11-3.

Yankees (11) Wade Pelfrey 1 run, Bailey Blair 1 hit and 1 run, Skylar Pelfrey 2 hits and 3 runs, Braxton Cottongame 1 hit and 2 runs, Reece Fletcher 1 hit and 1 run, Trevor Spurlock 1 run, Mason Grigsby 1 hit and 1 run and Garrett Miller 1 run.

Cardinals (3) Jacob Woolum 1 hit, Spencer Robinson 1 hit and 1 run, Jarrett Napier 1 run and Dawson Browning 1 run.
