The Bulldogs tied the game in the third period after a long sustained drive. Brandon Jones finished off the drive with a 16-yard touchdown run (17-17).
With time running out in the game, the Bulldogs took the lead. Austin Johnson set up the touchdown after taking a pass at the line of scrimmage, and breaking a tackle for a 57-yard run. Evan Whitaker concluded the drive with a one-yard run. The failed conversion set the tally at 23-17.
